Dear Students, Staff, Parents, Alumni and Friends of JMC,
Peace greetings of Eastertide from the Heights!
Although being a month of relative quiet at the cradle of Hope Reborn with most of the Phoenixes on vacation, April didn’t just slide by as it left us with so much to ponder as a community of prayer, scholarship and service. To be sure, following the completion of their End of Term Examination and crucial post – Examination week activities, JS1, JS2, JS3, and SS2 Phoenixes departed the College on the first day of the month for a well-deserved holiday while the SS1 braved themselves up for their mandatory Citizenship and Leadership Training (CLT) programme billed to commence the same day. The two-week intensive programme organized by instructors from the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, Port Harcourt was a huge success as all the Phoenixes who participated in it were adjudged worthy of certification by their instructors for their outstanding disposition to a robust training in citizenship and leadership; a disposition evidenced in the way they conducted themselves throughout the programme. We congratulate this crop of Phoenixes and look forward to experiencing the citizenship values and leadership skills they have so acquired this school…
